A multidimensional perspective of Holi and ourselves
सोमवार, १३ मार्च २०१७ पौर्णिमा के रंगसंग, दुनियाँ के सारे भारतीय दिलों में होली का उत्सव मनाया जाएगा। इंद्रधनुष्य के सारे रंगीन ख़ुषिवों के फूलोंसे सजाया हुवा उत्सव, होली है।
Holi is the full Moon spring festivity of colorful moods in Indian hearts. Celebrating the onset of spring, It is a two day festival spanning across the full Moon night and the following day.
During the Holi night and light of the full Moon, a bonfire is lit to symbolically burn the baggage of accumulated emotional crapload for purifying the environment within as well as outside of ourselves. Expressing the same thought in Hindi language :
जब साधना करने वाला साधक, नर या मादी,
मनके कचरे-कुडे को जलाकर और भस्मसाथ कर,
आत्मज्ञान और आत्मबोध को प्राप्त होता है,
ऊस अन्तर्यामी उड़ान, आझादी और मनः स्थिती का नाम है होली।
The soothing energy radiated by the full Moon and exuded by the onset of spring is exhilarating for uplifting the spirit of Life. Consequently, Holi is a festival of colors and love for the environment, forgiving and forgetting broken relationships in a gracious spirit of friendship, gratitude and Thanksgiving. It is a festival of celebrating all inclusive spirit of Life and not an ordained religious ritual. In a similar spirit, the innate spirit and spelling of a Woman is inclusive of Man and as a team it makes us complete; wrote Usha Deo in her book titled “ Many Faces of Women “,
The presence of full Moon of Holi seems to bring into focus the integral reality and beauty of existence.
Each cultural pocket of humanity has a traditional and equally meaningful symbolism for cosmic Universal awareness.
From one perspective, the above symbol of Om ( a, u, m ) in Indian Philosophy of Life represents the Axis of Trinity (AOT) which includes the Navel, Heart and Throat ( Thyroid ). The AOT is in constant vibrational synchronicity with the all pervasive cosmic forces. The automatic rhythm of pulsing Life energy within a living body is its evidence. It is the Source of our continuing physical presence after getting detached from natural Mother’s Umbilical cord at birth. That is one of the reasons why the meditative introspection focuses on the AOT.

सार्वजनिक मनोभावमें होली का मतलब, वृंदावन के गलियों में,
झनक झनक पायल बाजे और रंग भरी पिचकातियोंकी प्रेम वर्षा।
मनोभाव में,
यही होली, मन में बसा हुआ कचरा-कुडा अग्नीमें भस्मकर,
मनको साफ-सुतरा करनेका मंगल अवसर होता है।
साफ-सुतरा मन, फिर वृंदावन बन जाता है।
जिसमें खुशियों के अनेक रंग उधेले जाते हैं।
इसी दृष्टिकोण से,
श्री कृष्ण के साथ गोपियाँ और गोपाल बंधू ,
उनका आपसमें रंगसंग दांडिया नृत्य,
इस होली उत्सव की परिभाषा है।

The above picture is equally symbolic of classic Celestial dance. Celestial is not a romantic or exotic term. In its deeper sense ( आध्यात्मिक ) it implies a simultaneous experience of our own multi dimensional cosmic presence. It is an inner affirmation of “ I am not the body and I am not the Mind “. That is the trance in which Saint Meera Bai danced in real life. It is one of the prominent exemplification of a Celestial dance for an Indian ( भारतीय ) mind at heart.

जो दृश्य नैनों से दिखता है, वो केवल रंग रूप होता है।
जो नजरिया से दिखता नहीं वो स्वरुप अथवा आत्मस्वरूप।
झनक, झनक पायल बाजे इसी गहरी सोच की परिभाषा है।

Misinterpretation or distortion of Holi festival and most other traditional ideas occurs in self polluted or adulterated Minds that go by the Book. The wisdom of holiness from within is not a Book, nor does it require any proof at any time simply because it is always a blissful inner experience at individual specific level. चिदानंद स्वरूपः।
अफसोस है की, सामाजिक रूप में अज्ञान भरे दिल और दिमाख के अंधेरेमें में , होली त्यौहार के दिन गंधी से गंधी गलियां बकनेका रिवाज बन गया है।
The Holi festival has unfortunately been misinterpreted as a day of Hooliganism in some minds, which is expressed by destructing neighboring as well as public assets including burning of wooden gates, furniture, public transport buses and publicly uttering dirtiest possible curse words to the embarrassment of unintentional listeners. My childhood years in Nagpur ( 1940 to 1950 ) bear witness to this polluted version of Holi, while my tongue was relishing the sweetness of पुर्णाची पोळी !
खुद की अज्ञानता को होली के अग्निकांड में जलाकर भस्म करना अथवा आहुती देना ये एक गहरी तपस्या है। वही होली की आध्यत्मिक परिभाषा है। आध्यात्म याने खुदके पैरों पर खडा किया और सम्हाला हुआ अनुभविक ज्ञान।
एका अर्थी होळी म्हणजे, स्वतः च्या शरीराची आणि मनाची आहुती देणे।
मी शरीर नाही आणि मन देखील नाही ह्याची अबुभूती होणें।
मी आत्मस्वरूप प्राण अथवा ऊर्जा शक्ती आहे ह्याची अनुभूती होणे, हीच होळी।
The above wisdom of holiness condenses as a Dewdrop from the timeless ages, sages and seers of our conscious awareness. A Dewdrop does not demand any proof because it is the ultimate proof or the undefinable and unchangeable Truth.
