In Praise of Healthy Self Criticism

Human Ego never permits self criticism. It only deals with gratification from doled Self-praise and acknowledgements. Ego represents the masculine aggressive tendencies of human behavior lacking the tender female faculty. Only a harmonious balance between the two halves,  male and female faculties, makes a human complete. Completeness is a natural thirst of human existence, which is obscured by the ego.

This morning I saw an email forwarded to me bearing the title “ HINDUISM ​is the origin of all religions : Top 10 Excavations worldwide prove : Video : I did not have to read or see beyond the title because I sensed the mighty personal excavated ego pouring out of it.  Hinduism or any other Ism, irrespective of its age, is simply a way of experiencing Life and not to prove or disprove anything.

No single philosophy of life, religion or self fabricated God and Heaven is superior than others. That is simply because there is only One without the other and it exists soulfully without a Book of Testament, Revelation or Veda of any Ism. No logical or scientific proof for it is ever necessary simply because it is an inner experience.  

Religious terrorism and consequential anti-terrorism for appropriate response has become the norm of human psyche globally in modern era, while humanity blatantly claims and justifies the mirage called  prosperity. All religions as practiced today have become bastions or edifices of ego driven self ignorance, blind faith, and either profit-eering or prophet-eering. As a consequence human’s humanity is missing from it. The same thought as expressed in other languages:

इंसान की इंसानियत, क्या हो गई भगवान ?

मानवाची माणुसकी इतक्या अधोगतीला कां लागली आहे देवा ?

ह अल्लाह परवरदिगार, ये जिंदगी इतनी क्यों खुदसे खफाह हो गई है ?

Some sense of truism condenses from what we hear, see and experience:

* “ He created and afterwards entered into it “.... a quote from Upanishads probably suggesting the energy of the Creator and its Creation.

* All written books of knowledge glamorised as Veda, Vedanta, Bible, Koran, Ahura Mazda and similar others are a depository of mundane and spiritual knowledge - vidya and science (avidya)....  All of these books may have pat answers to all pertinent questions of Life and hereafter. However, simply enjoying the beauty, and fragrance of barefooted walk on dew laden grass at dawn reveals the enduring magic of Life.  

* A quote suggested “ Nature is a Reflection of God.  To enjoy Nature is to enjoy God.  They are one and the same “.  

No religious or academic Bullshxx seems necessary beyond this simplicity.  Meditative introspection provides the vision of the Third Eye, which is a symbolism for the ability to perceive Life just as it is devoid of all bodily attachments or physicalities.

Summarising : Ageless wisdom of Sages and Seers suggests that each human becomes complete from within only when the male and female instinctive faculties inherently present in the psyche achieve a harmonious balance within. Sanskrit language identifies this person as  a Purush ( पुरुष ) or Purshottam ( पुरषोत्तम ).  It represents the ultimate state of self enlightenment.

The above sculpture depicts the universal idea of a whole person being a harmonious balance and integration of innate male and female instincts. The front view of the sculpture depicts a fully armoured battle ready soldier, while its rear view reflected in the mirror fully incorporates a gentle womanhood in all of its splendorous beauty.  You have to personally view this lifesize sculpture to fully appreciate it.

गुरु और सद्गुरु - Guru and Sadguru

Each language has its cultural beauty and freedom as well as limitations imposed by its cultivators.  

गुरु का मतलब होता है ज्ञान, औ  सद्गुरू एक अबुभूती अथवा अंतर्यामी अनुभवच का माध्यम और उसकी परिभाषा है।  

A Guru teaches and guides a willing learner the methodology, tools and self discipline to absorb the flavor of knowledge which has condensed through the medium of ages, sages and seers. Guru presents the universal knowledge in simple daily common language to gradually transform a common individual into a self reliant learner and server ( स्वयंसेवक ) ; detached from blind presumptions and assumptions.

सद्गुरूं, शिष्य के पाए ज्ञान को आत्म जागृती स्वरूपमें परिवर्तन होनेकी दुवायें देता है. आत्मजागृती स्वरूप, खुदकी असली और अमूल्य वैश्विक पहचान होती है।  

Of necessity, Guru and सद्गुरू are both living individuals or living life experiences that channel plain knowledge/information coupled with self ignorance to transform itself into universal wisdom.

The essence of the word सद्गुरू cannot be spelled or comprehended through English language because it spells as Sad Guru / दुःखी गुरु , which implies a commonly persistent self image !

सुखः और दुखः ये दोनो मनो अवस्थाऐं , खुदके ज्ञान और अज्ञान के रूप और स्वरुप भी हैं।  जो  आखोंसे दिखता है वो रूप होता है, और जो नजरिया से दिखता नहीं वो स्वरुप होता है।  

हरेक जीव की स्थापना, माँ के गर्भ कोषमें होती है जब momentarily the Ovarian egg is fertilised by a male sperm. स्थापना का मतलब है, जिस क्षणमें जीवन ऊर्जा स्वयम अण्डकोषमें प्रवेश करती है. In other words, when the ovarian egg is momentarily fertilized by a male sperm. Humans do not have the capacity to define or capture that moment. Scientific Ego and the so called political morality vainly tries to define and redefine the inception of life in the fertilised egg. Life seems to be a continuous process of inception, conception, and transformation.

ऊपर प्रस्तुत किये दृष्टिकोणसे, हरेक जीव के लिए नैसर्गिक माँ का गर्भ सर्व प्रथम सद्गुरु स्वरुप होता है. क्योंकी इस स्थिति में आंखोंकी दृष्टी अथवा नजरिया नही होती। और माँ के गर्भसे बाहर आनेके बाद, बाल्य अवस्थामें माँ ही सद्गुरु रूप होती है।  

Comprehension of universal Wisdom refuses to be captured by any word of human expression, because it is soulfully only an inner experience. It is unconditionally available to every genuine Seeker of its infinite and boundless potential identical to its innate Source.   

A tiny droplet of water separates momentarily from the mighty Waterfall, bobs around merrily in the breeze of Life and subsequently rejoins the flow of Waterfall, its original Source. The waterfall accepts it back unconditionally, like a Mother embraces her infant.

The colorful Rainbow spanning across the waterfall on a clear sunny day reveals the beauty and wisdom of existence. The Grace or सद्गुरु की दुवाएं equally reveal all that we need to know about ourselves in the context of the ever changing Universe outside of us as well as within us and realise that both the seemingly different universes are identical...reveal the words of Vedanta ( वेदांत ) philosophy of Life.

Inspirational vs Actualized Discourses:

In the modern age, there are self labeled Gurus and सद्गुरू delivering discourses globally by floating around via planes and airwaves such as Internet Yourube. Spiritually thirsty audience around the Globe has easy access to them and vise versa.

Ultimately a genuine Seeker of universal wisdom is able to distinguish the subtle difference between a Guru and सद्गुरू by the fragrance of their discourse. A Guru’s discourse serves as an Inspirational guiding light, whereas सद्गुरू discourse is self enriched actualised Silence within. Both discourses are complementary to each other.

Consciousness Spreads in all Directions from its Source

The above title is a sentence we heard today in Dr. Wayne Dyer’s Youtube presentation  titled “ Finding Your Purpose “ .  This presentation is so self enriching that it was compelling to write about it.. This video presentation promises to dig deep into the imagination of folks ranging from 15 to 90 +. Covered in this presentation are :

1. The Genocide in Rwanda, Africa in which  approx. One million people of one ethnicity were hacked to death with mostly Machetes by an opposing ethnicity. The minority Tutsis were slaughtered by the majority Hutus. That was in the 20th Century.  The basic poignant story of such reality is no different than what is going on currently in the 21st Century. Only the shades of atrocities differ in their intensities vary. The egotistic and manipulating Politician ever present within each one of us is vainly self asserting that “ We are more civilized than them “ and the game of duality goes on unabashedly.   

During the early stillness of the genocide in Rwanda, one girl belonging to the  Tutsi ethnicity attending college at that time had returned home honoring the request of her parents to come home. She is now the sole and miraculous survivor of her family and the village after suffering through the excruciating genocide. Her poignant story is now in a Book authored by her in English. Her book effort was supported by United Nations Organization.  She claims no religion of her own except her own living experiences, and the timeless wisdom of ages, sages and seers condensing within her. Some religious fraternities naturally claim her now as their own!! That is the politics of religion that is clearly audible and easy to smell.

What is truly breath taking and humbling is her personal presence in the 20, 000 + audience in Dr. Dyer’s presentation. Her humble voice, demeanor, speech and very presence lights up the heart of every listener of all ages. She and her presence is the real authentic Book. Through her gentle voice and speech,  we begin to sense the self enriching dimensions of “ Forgiveness “.

Summarising her extraordinary life experiences to date and their outcome,  Dr. Dyer concluded “ Consciousness simultaneously spreads in all directions from its Source”

2. In the same audience was a teen ager invited as a guest attendee that inspires and lights up listeners hearts with his wisdom.
3. In addition there are several other related features in Dr. Dyer;s presentation that are for listeners of all ages,  irrespective of ethnicity, to soak up.

Pasted below is the link for the above presentation of Late Dr. Wayne Dyer which is titled “ Finding Your Purpose “. Dr. Dyer was not a Religious Preacher of any Brand, but simply a self enriched Noble human being of his own making. Now, he rests in eternal Peace of his own accord.

आत्मज्ञान के अनुभूती को आझमाकर , आज डॉक्टर वेन डायर खुदके आत्मबोध अथवा शांतीवन को प्राप्त हो गये  हैं।  

This kind of dedicated and elf enriching lifestyle of the Tutsi lady, survivor of the Rwandan genocide, and Dr. Wayne Dyer may be termed as the true and meaningful  “ Literacy of Life “ .

Meditation is not an intellectual pursuit nor search of a proof for something or an abstract idea. in its core essence, it seems to be  about fully feeling our own presence in our own time and space  while being fully alert and experiencing total absence of ourself; devoid of our mind and body complex.

Meditation is a progressive individual specific inner experience that cannot be shared intellectually, nor described with futile words of our own imagination and their obvious limitations.  A word or language is only an empty cauldron that emits much sound. An inner experience is silent and solely a self enriching experience of every selfless Seeker. It condenses effortlessly as the Grace of a Dewop.  

Meditation brings one to the fact that only All pervading consciousness is the absolute reality. The process is unique individual specific but the realisation is universal

The Mindful Cauldron of Life

Caul·dron orˈkôldrən is traditionally a large metal pot with a lid and handle, used for cooking over an open fire. Cauldrons ranging from Cast Iron to Copper are used by different individuals for various uses in life.

Cauldron receives and readily imparts its shape to any fluid poured in it. Human emotional thoughts are fluid. The natural force of Gravity separates fluids of different weight or specific gravities in gradients of layers; the lighter ones float towards the top as scum, whereas the heavier and precious ones settle towards the bottom.  

The lighter or weightless human emotions classified as “Ignorance “ float upwards, whereas “ Wisdom “ preferentially gravitates and settles towards the bottom. In order for the brue in the “ Cauldron of Life “ to taste appetizing, it is necessary to keep on stirring the brue with tender loving care while maintaining slow and steady heat underneath the cauldron.

The so called Witches and Devils of the Mind cook up a brew in their cauldron to suit their own temperaments.
