Homecoming and Thanksgiving

Homecoming is a trail of conscious foot prints, without an invitation. It is the natural instinct’s need to fulfill itself.  Womb, home and childhood is a heartwarming landscape of unconditional affection.

भूगर्भ, घर और बचपन, वात्सल्यरुप प्रेम की अमर कहानी होती है।  

The journey of human life and conflict constantly yearns for an innate desire nursed by its natural instincts to merge with its absolute source.  Human intellect fails to identify it. However, the instinct innately knows that it’s real home and source is not a landscape of real estate with a name or form.

Ultimately through introspection devoid of the material body along with its brick and mortar, human instinct experiences its source as pure, all pervasive, eternal Consciousness. Its eternal nature implies endlessness, without a beginning. This seems to be the consistent prompt of every self enlightened Saint through the history of time.

Irrespective of which national calendar date we celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday, the essential spirit and fragrance of Homecoming and Thanksgiving is an expression of sheer Gratitude to our cosmic source.  

Every dawn effortlessly radiates its Grace.

God is not the owner of the real estate called Heaven. God is symbolic of all pervasive eternal Consciousness. The boundless Cosmos is its manifestation.

Initiating the day with Gratitude, the period of Dawn is the most desired Yoga time in which to seek harmonious union with the Cosmic wisdom or Consciousness. In total union with it, there is no one apart to thank.

Under the refreshing leadership and initiatives of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his teeming millions, India seems to be renesting it’s conscious awareness with the guiding principles of सत्यमेव जयते और जनता जनार्दन सेवक, परमो धर्मः

US Presidential Election of 2016

“ The David and mighty Goliath story - 01 “ that we read during childhood seems to manifest itself in various different forms, time and time again.

From one perspective, politically a little but strong kid named Donald Trump has triumphed today over a huge entrenched bureaucracy represented by the hierarchical background of Hillary (Hill-a-ry).

It appears that of necessity, bureaucracy is manifestation of perpetuated Kinsmanship, and the dynamics of dynastic control.

In the final election victory, Trump seems to represent a one man crusade against huge bureaucracy at both corporate as well as national levels. His own National Republican Party did not actively support him, but only his well earned voter’s confidence did.

Through his victory today in ascending to the Presidency of USA, Trump seems to have displayed the super skill of accurately hitting the mighty bureaucratic Bull’s eye with his sling to gain victory.

In recent past, a seemingly new kid on the political block by the name of Narendra Modi surprised his Nation, India, by getting elected through democratic process to become the Chief Minister of Gujarath state and subsequently Prime Minister of India. He has successfully fought the huge entrenched bureaucracy of Indian politics. His victory has been more remarkable because as a youthful kid he sold Tea out of his father’s restaurant as well as on trains. Yet he has acquired the Literacy of Life to earn credibility by serving his fellow countrymen.

History is the ultimate judge of the Present.

US Presidential Election, 2016

I have voted and diligently discharged my civic duty. I have voted for the candidate that I feel better qualified amongst the two finalists. Thanks to the democratic process that filters out and presents the final two candidates through the ballots. The organised early voting took only 20 minutes to complete the entire voting process.

Today from an altitude of 85-years, I have a simultaneous comprehension and appreciation of the relative heights of ego and the depths of submission in the ongoing political process. Fate and destiny are synonyms for choices made with conscious awareness. Sin and virtues are consciously cultivated habits and not proclamations by any outside authority. The destiny or fate of an individual is the sum total of its conscious choices; the same holds true for a Democratic Nation with its joint consciousness expressed through its ballots.

The “ Literacy of Life “ is not about the scholarship of alphabets, arithmetic and computing, but it is all about establishing harmony with the inside and outside environment, which includes the domestic and foreign politics. The political candidate that best fits this description as close as possible is the better choice to run the country as a President; to move it forward to a more meaningful all-inclusive prosperity.

Irrespective of who wins the US Presidency on the morning of 09 November 2016, the US democracy stands firmly on its footing of democratic governance. It is now 200 years since Thomas Jefferson’s retiring mode of ~ 1816. The inspiration from its firm democratic footing will continue to reaffirm all inclusiveness of individual freedom and progression to fulfillment of human endeavor.  The Nation will continue to reinvent itself exploring the possibilities and potentialities of free human spirit. Realising its inherent weaknesses as well as strengths, it will move on to better itself along with the free spirit of the world within which it exists as a free Nation.

It is a reality that for better or worse, US attracts the attention of the youthful world with its obvious Jeans, T-shirt and Backpack culture. As a result, US bears a heavy responsibility to behave itself.

Extrapolating from what someone had said earlier, America is right today, if Thomas Jefferson was right during Nov. 1816. America is wrong today, if Thomas Jefferson was wrong then. Right or wrong is subjective joint consciousness of the Nation as a whole.

Reiterating the theme that sins and virtues are both acts performed consciously and each act bears a corresponding consequence. This cosmic perspective holds as true for an individual as it does for a Nation as a joint consciousness. The emotional debt incurred through  imposed human slavery and inequalities is a sin that is carried over for generations to pay back in one form or another.

It behooves to choose your next President based on individual merit rather than ethnic, tribal or clannish dispositions. If you do not vote, you will have no right to complain for the next four years. So get your ass out and vote.

At 46, served as The first Secretary of State Under George Washington.   At 53, served as Vice President and was elected President of the American Philosophical Society.   At 55, drafted The Kentucky Resolutions and Became the active head of Republican Party.   At 57, was Elected the third president of the United States .   At 60, obtained The Louisiana Purchase doubling The nation's Size.   At 61, was Elected to a second term as President.   At 65, retired To Monticello .   At 80, helped President Monroe shape the Monroe   Doctrine.   At 81, almost Single-handedly created the University of Virginia and served as its first President.   At 83, died on The 50th anniversary of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence along With John Adams.   Thomas Jefferson Knew because he himself studied the previous failed attempts at government. He understood Actual history, the nature of God, His laws and the nature Of man.
